Which cookies we use on challengingdawn.pt, what they are for, and how you can manage them at any time.
The Challenging Dawn website uses cookies to ensure the proper functioning of the platform and, with your permission, to analyse traffic in aggregate. This Policy explains which cookies we use, for what purpose, and how you can control them.
Cookies are small text files stored on the user's device (computer, phone or tablet) when visiting a website. They allow the browser to be recognised, save preferences and collect statistical information about page usage.
Cookies do not contain viruses and cannot access other files on your device.
Necessary for the website to function and to remember your cookie choice. They do not require consent.
Allow us to analyse, in aggregate and anonymised form, how visitors use the website (most-visited pages, time on page, traffic source). Only active after you accept on the consent banner. We use Google Consent Mode v2: until you give consent, Google Analytics writes no cookies on your device.
We do not use marketing / third-party cookies today. We keep the option in the banner for the future: if activated (e.g. paid campaigns, retargeting), it will only be after your explicit opt-in.
When you submit the contact form on challengingdawn.pt, the data (name, email, phone, company, message, source page, IP, and browser) is stored in our internal request app for a maximum of 24 months. This operation does not depend on cookies — it is a direct submission to our server. You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing geral@challengingdawn.pt.
You can change your choices at any time via the consent banner or the "Cookie settings" option available on the website. Additionally, you can configure your browser to refuse, block or delete cookies:
We do not use non-essential cookies without your explicit consent. On your first visit you are presented with a banner with three options: Accept all, Essential only and Customize. Your choice is stored for 12 months in the cd_cookie_consent cookie. You can revoke or change that choice at any time, without justification.
This Policy may be updated as we add or remove services. The date of last update appears at the top of the document.
